Pollyrate Manifesto
Democracy works best when power is accountable. Every day, Australians rely on reviews to choose where they eat, where they stay, and what they buy. Yet the most important decisions affecting our lives — housing, healthcare, energy, education — are made in systems with almost no structured public feedback.
Pollyrate exists to change that.
Pollyrate is not a political party. We do not endorse candidates. We do not campaign for elections. We do not tell people how to vote. Pollyrate is a public feedback system — designed to make public sentiment visible, structured, and impossible to ignore.
We believe power should face sunlight. When decisions are made without explanation, without accountability, without alignment to public priorities, trust erodes. Pollyrate restores trust not by attacking individuals, but by connecting actions to outcomes and opinions to evidence.
We believe influence should reflect people, not money. Too often, policy outcomes favour those with the loudest voices and the deepest pockets. Pollyrate aggregates millions of small signals into something powerful: a clear public mandate, a record that cannot be erased, accountability that persists beyond news cycles.
We believe disagreement is healthy. Pollyrate is not about consensus. It is about visibility. We make disagreements measurable, comparable, and honest — so society can debate solutions based on reality, not slogans.
Our purpose
To ensure that those who govern:
- know what people care about
- understand where trust is earned or lost
- and are accountable not just at elections, but every day in between
Democracy does not fail all at once. It erodes quietly — when people feel unheard, disconnected, and powerless. Pollyrate exists to reverse that erosion. Not with anger. Not with slogans. But with clarity.
